Inspired by the legendary Jeanne Rose, a renowned teacher, author, master herbalist, and aromatherapist, I discovered the profound healing power of essential oils. My journey began by crafting unique blends and sharing them with the local community at a small, beloved shop. Over the years, I've expanded my reach through vibrant health expos and an online store, while continuing to nurture relationships with local businesses and wellness centers. I believe in offering high-quality essential oils and creating products that seamlessly integrate into daily life. Each item is lovingly handcrafted with meticulous attention to detail, drawing inspiration from my studies and a deep intuition. I find immense joy in creating personalized (custom) blends that thoughtfully address each individual's unique needs and desires. Let me help you experience the transformative power of aromatherapy - Lisa
At the heart of Enchanted Essences lies a commitment to the highest quality essential oils. Guided by the teachings of my first Aromatherapy mentor, I've meticulously researched and selected suppliers who prioritize ethical sourcing and rigorous quality control.
True therapeutic quality essential oils begin with the cultivation of healthy plants, free from harmful chemicals and pesticides. Skilled distillation is then crucial to preserve the oil's integrity and potency. I only source oils that have undergone rigorous testing, such as Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS), to ensure they are free from adulterants and contain the optimal therapeutic compounds.
To further guarantee quality, I prioritize suppliers who provide:
*Comprehensive documentation: GC-MS test results, safety data sheets, certificates of analysis, and quality & regulatory information are readily available.
*Industry-recognized certifications: ISO certification for quality management systems and NOP/USDA organic certification for organic oils, audited by reputable organizations like QAI.
I believe in transparency and trust. That's why I strive to use only the finest essential oils, carefully selected for their purity and potency. These premium oils are then meticulously packaged and used to create the high-quality aromatherapy products that I offer to my valued customers.

Aromatherapy is both an art and a science using essential oils in a therapeutic way. It involves inhaling the aromas or applying them topically (diluted in a carrier oil like jojoba or nut/seed oil) to promote physical and emotional well-being.
How it Works:
Inhalation: When inhaled, aromatic molecules interact with the olfactory system, stimulating the limbic system. This part of the brain influences emotions, memory, and behavior, and interacts with the hypothalamus and pituitary gland, which regulate various bodily functions. For example, when inhaling lavender oil, the aromatic molecules interact with the olfactory system, stimulating the limbic system in the brain, potentially influencing the release of calming hormones like serotonin and GABA through the hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal axis, therefore having a potential calming effect on the body and mind. Different essential oils have different aromatic molecules and therefore interact with the body in unique ways, offering a wide range of potential benefits
Topical Application: When applied topically, essential oil molecules can be absorbed through the skin, exerting therapeutic effects on the body while also allowing for the simultaneous enjoyment of their aroma. For example, applying an appropriately diluted blend of certain essential oils may help to relieve tension headaches and pain by interacting with local receptors and potentially reducing inflammation in the surrounding tissues.
The "art" part of Aromatherapy is creating blends and products with these amazing essential oils.

As a certified Aromatherapist, I carefully blend high-quality essential oils into convenient-to-use aromatherapy products, following safe dilution guidelines. While individual responses to essential oils can vary, my intention is to offer products that may help you experience a range of benefits, such as stress relief, relaxation, improved mood, enhanced sleep quality and more.
Important Considerations:
Always dilute concentrated essential oils properly with a carrier oil before skin application.
Avoid use during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless specifically advised by your healthcare provider.
Consult with a healthcare professional before using essential oils if you have any underlying health conditions or are taking medications. My Blog Post - Safety Guidelines
Essential oils are concentrated liquid extracts from plants, typically obtained through steam distillation or cold pressing (citrus fruits). They are not oils like nut and seed oils but rather the volatile essence of the plant. Unlike synthetic fragrance oils, essential oils contain naturally occurring therapeutic compounds that can benefit your health and well-being
There are many ways to enjoy the benefits of essential oils including:
Topical Application: Dilute with a carrier oil (like jojoba, nut/seed oil) and apply to the skin.

Experience the difference with freshly made products. No pre-made batches sitting on shelves. For the most optimal experience, I would recommend enjoying your products within the general time frames listed below:
Essential Oils: depending on the essential oil, they can retain their beneficial qualities for 1 to 8 years when stored properly (cool, dark place)
Rollon oil Blends: Made with essential oils and high-quality jojoba oil as the carrier oil, these blends can typically remain effective for up to a year
Aroma Inhalers: Due to the nature of essential oils, the aroma may gradually dissipate over time. Expect an aroma lifespan of up to 3 months.
Diffuser Blends: Containing only pure essential oils, these blends can typically stay fresh for at least a year when stored properly. (cool, dark place)
Massage Body Oils: Containing organic cold-pressed carrier oils and essential oils, they can retain the beneficial qualities for 6 months to a year.
Spray Mists: Made with distilled water and essential oils, these blends should retain their freshness for around 3-6 months.
Note: If the aroma of the product changes and doesn't smell good, it's time for a fresh one.
Storage Tips: Store all products in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight. Keep bottles tightly closed to prevent oxidation.
Disclaimer: Shelf life can vary depending on factors such as storage conditions and the specific essential oils used. I encourage you to use your products within the recommended timeframe to experience their full benefits. Enjoy!
